eGovernment Observatory

Ahead of the Ministerial eGovernment Conference taking place 24-25 November 2005 in Manchester (UK), the eGovernment Observatory releases a new version of its report eGovernment in the Member States of the European Union, providing an overview of the situation and progress of e-government in the 25 EU Member States as of November 2005. This report is the compilation of the eGovernment Observatory country Factsheets, which have just been updated and provide the most extensive sum of information to date on e-government developments across the EU.

The eGovernment Observatory also announces full availability of its eGovernment Library, the most extensive and comprehensive online repository of documentation about electronic government in Europe. The Library stores more than 460 documents dealing with e-government issues and developments at global, European or EU Member States level, enabling e-government professionals and researchers to find all reference documentation in a single place.

The eGovernment Observatory is a reference information source on e-government issues and developments across Europe. It provides the community of e-government decision-makers and professionals with a set of useful information products and with valuable insight into e-government strategies, initiatives and projects in Europe and beyond, focusing on developments of pan-European relevance or interest.
