About us

Emilia-Romagna digitale is a web site created and run by Emilia-Romagna Region in order to:

• provide for a single on line access point to services provided in the institutional web sites of Emilia Romagna's local authorities and agencies (Municipalities, Provinces, the Region, Healthcare Trusts, University, Libraries, etc.);
• present and describe the features, objectives, action lines, projects and results of Emilia-Romagna's Telematic Plan, the main policy concerning digital innovation and development of information society promoted by the Region and local authorities in Emilia-Romagna;
• provide for information, updating and in-depths on digital innovation for Public Administration in Emilia-Romagna, in Italy and the rest of the world;
• provide for an updated picture of the state of the art in Emilia-Romagna in terms of digital innovation and development of information society, through data, statistics and analyses.

The design and development of the web site has been prompted by the Co-ordination body of Emilia-Romagna Telematic Plan, while publishing development and coordination have been assigned to the Service for Communication and Education regarding Sustainability of Emilia-Romagna Region. Both structures are part of the Directorate-General on Organization, Staff, IT Services and Telematics.
